In being a new media businessman, Marcus has acquired the skills of being a web developer, graphic designer, information architect, content writer and blogger, photographer, video producer, and social media expert. Leading up to the founding of CYGY.com, Marcus' unique professional path started in 2004 as a web producer and content writer for TNA Wrestling on Spike TV for three years starting at age 15, to penning a column in The Suplex Magazine out of the United Kingdom, and attending the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in 2009 for New Media Design and Web Development, upon becoming the Co-Founder, Co-Owner, and Vice President of BuyRIC.com and The Pinnacle List.
