
One of the greatest pop star icons of all-time, Whitney Houston, tragically passed away today on February 11, 2012. She was found dead at 3:52 PM PST in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The cause of her death is not yet known.
Upon selling over 700 million albums and winning six Grammy Awards, Houston is most known for her cover of “I Will Always Love You”, written by Dolly Parton in 1973 and released as a single the following year. The song was released by Houston for the 1992 feature film “The Bodyguard,” in which she starred in a main role alongside Kevin Costner. Houston’s version spent 14 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart – a record at the time. Houston’s version went on to win Grammys for “Record of the Year” and “Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.”
On the eve of 54th Grammy Awards, where Whitney Houston was expected to appear, we remember an entertainer with one of the greatest voices of all time in pictures.

Whitney inspired me to believe in myself with her song “The Greatest Love of All”. Whitney made such a wonderful contributiopn to the music world and I will always love her for that.
Whitney where ever you are, may you always find the LOVE you gave to the world, forever and always. I will Always Love You!!
